I believe children are born with an innate sense of wonder when it comes to the natural world. Growing up, I lived in the
countryside, surrounded by forests, ponds and meadows. They were a constant source of enjoyment and discovery. Family vacations
usually involved camping trips which further helped to nurture my appreciation of nature. Art has also been a life-long love,
with which I endeavor to capture the beauty of wildlife on my preferred "canvases" of slate, stone, wood, birch
bark and leaves.
